On a mission
to find out where you left off
in submission
on a subway is a cold breath.

If you could only hear me sing this song, you'd understand
that reading this is only an excuse.
Falling faster in the wind. Siren sing this song
Sentances will run on and along.

Worthless..

Because God mad it so unclear, you are my reason to live. Because without you, motivation is only a word. You are behind every idea, you are hidden deep in the ground. Because you can grow. Because you can subtract. Because you divide, conquer and multiply. You are different shapes. You are different names. Because many would die to grasp you. Because others would die to keep you. Because you make people smile when you're around, and cry when you're not. You are pain. You are pleasure. You are powerful beyond measure.

And I am without you.

A morning of old writings.. This will do until I have something new to share.

Something Liquid

My Ocean

Like a sailors love, you are my ocean. it's every part of you that i adore. and if i'm on shore i long for you even more. until my ship sets sail. the wind carries me across. how could i get lost in something that i'm familiar with? but you can carry my ship. to sink in to you would be a loss i've love to gain. drowning.

Sing or Sail
The night lasted much too long
The morning seemed so short.
Will your decision sing a song
Or sail and leave you at port?
Now crawling in regret
From a night that lasted too long
You will have to accept
That your decision will never
Sing a song.

Where to start...

Can't say I'm not proud to see you shine
your golden moment shared with yours and mine
Seen you on the t.v. screen
no smoke
no mirrors
no "in between.
"They shout and scream your name with pride
Can't say I'm not proud to see you shine
I want to believe you'll give me hope
a messiah sent to change my mind.

Father, how did you do it when you were young?
Did you stand tall against walls
or did you fall short and break ties?

I know you as a ghost
The shadowed man of the past.
So tell me how you lived
I want to know...

Introduction

I'd like to think that the world is shapeless. I'd like to say that we choose our own destiny. However, the older I get, the closer I get to an awful truth. And that is that no matter how the natural order of things goes man will always a way to break apart from its pattern. I couldn't say it was instinct because modern day education and values has taught most of mankind to think without instinct. And what are we without instinct? What are we if we can't make our own decisions when we need them most? We are limited. We are nothing. We are a bad taste in your mouth. So spit us out. If I can't become what I was born to be, I'd rather die now. I understand that we all may not make it to our destination but, if we can't live our lives freely and happily because of an unnatural force shouting "you can't!" then where do we stand?
